Join us for a presentation from Grassroots Ecology, as we discuss how native plant restoration benefits both, residents and local wildlife. The talk will express how Grassroots Ecology is able to leverage the power of volunteers to build habitats, providing further details on how community members can get involved in supporting the organization's pollinator garden at Baylands Park.
Grassroots Ecology is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to caring for public lands and waters across Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. In collaboration with public landowners, governments, schools, corporations, and other nonprofits, each year we engage thousands of people in hands-on education and service that improves our local environment.
This program will take place in the Library Program Room. Registration is recommended. Walk-ins are welcome.
