Teen Zine Workshop

Join artist Buppydogs to learn how to make an 8-page zine! The artist will share their original comic zines and discuss different zine styles, themes, and formats. Explore creative self-expression in a narrative format, whether it be writing, drawing, or both. Participants will come out of the workshop with an original publication and the skills to create narrative work. This workshop fosters a safe space for community building.

This workshop will center on themes of connection & chosen family, especially within the queer community.

This program is for grades 6 to 12. This program will be in the Teen Space.

This program is part of the Silicon Valley Reads 2026program: Bridges to Belonging
