Death Café

Join for a lightly moderated discussion of death over tea and snacks.

At a Death Café, people—often strangers—gather to discuss death. We invite people in all phases of life to come talk about death and dying in a supportive, unstructured way. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session.

This program is for adults only. It will take place in the Library Program Room. Please arrive early to get yourself a warm beverage so we can begin the discussion on time. We will close the doors at 6:40 p.m. to minimize disruptions.

Registration is not required.

Generously sponsored by the Friends of the Sunnyvale Public Library.

Accessibility
Pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, the City of Sunnyvale will make reasonable efforts to accommodate persons with disabilities. If you require special accommodation, please contact the library at 408-730-7300 or chat with a librarian at least three days in advance of the program.
