Financial Literacy, Part 1: Basic Concepts, Banking, Inflation

Back by popular demand! Join local high school business teacher Eddie Mui for a four-part series on financial literacy. Many of us were never formally taught how to manage our finances. This program seeks to fill this gap.

In the first session, attendees will learn basic financial concepts such as compounding, discounting, ROI (return on investment) and opportunity cost. Key banking concepts and inflation will also be covered.

This program is for adults and will take place in the Library Program Room. Registration is required.

Attending all four sessions is recommended, but each class will be valuable on its own if you can't make it to all of them.
