Join us for a conversation with historian, Thomas Richards Jr., and author of the new book, The Unfinished Business of 1776: Why the American Revolution Never Ended. We'll discuss the enduring legacies of the nation's founding moment, why the Revolution did not conclude in 250 years ago, and how it continues as an ongoing struggle for equality, justice, and social and political independence for all Americans.

Thomas Richards Jr. teaches history at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy in Philadelphia and holds a PhD in history from Temple University. He is also the author of Breakaway Americas: The Unmanifest Future of the Jacksonian United States.
