Level Up Your Communication: Skills for School, Work, and Life

Want to make a strong first impression at school, jobs, internships, and beyond? This interactive workshop will teach you how to communicate professionally through emails, phone calls, and everyday conversations. Learn the difference between casual and professional communication, build confidence speaking on the phone, and practice writing emails that you can use right away. Through hands-on activities, examples, and practice exercises, you’ll gain practical skills that will help you stand out in your academic and career journey!

This program requires use of a laptop, phone, or similar device. If you cannot bring your own, request one during registration to be provided to you during the event.

This program is hosted by NOVAworks, a regional Workforce Development Board which helps career seekers and young adults with professional career guidance, skill development and job search assistance.
