Join us for a community BioBlitz at Sunnyvale Baylands Park! A BioBlitz is a collaborative nature observation event where participants of all ages help document the living world right in our own backyard.

Explore the trails and habitats of Sunnyvale Baylands Park and log plants, birds, insects, fungi and other wildlife. All observations are recorded using iNaturalist, a free app that connects your sightings to a global network of scientists and naturalists.

Make sure to wear comfortable clothing, bring water and come curious!

iNaturalist is available as a free download on iOS and Android. Creating an account before the event is encouraged but not required. Don’t have the app? No problem — we’ll help you get set up on the day.

This program will take place at Sunnyvale Baylands Park. We will meet at the park's Eucalyptus Hollow. Registration is not required but recommended to receive email reminders.
