Come read to a therapy dog! Canine Companions therapy dogs will visit the Sunnyvale Library on the third Tuesday of the month from September through May. Therapy dogs provide a safe and comforting environment for children to practice their literacy skills. Limited registration is intentional to allow readers rewarding one-on-one reading time with a therapy dog. Each child will get ten minutes of one-on-one reading time with a furry friend.
More details on your confirmed time-slot, and instruction to follow once registered.
Canine Companion therapy dogs are insured and certified annually.
