Why It Matters

Before someone can effectively build credit, they need a foundation in banking. This workshop teaches:

  • How to open and manage accounts
  • How to safely store money
  • How to receive direct deposit
  • How to save for goals and emergencies
  • How to avoid banking mistakes that can make it difficult to open future accounts

The presentation focuses on financial stability and day-to-day money management rather than borrowing.
