Join us to make cyanotype prints. Cyanotypes, sometimes called sun prints, are an early form of photography developed by Sir John Herschel in the 1800s. A solution of iron salts are painted on a surface and then exposed to sunlight to produce a white picture with a blue background. For this program we will be printing on rocks. All materials will be provided.
