The Sunnyvale Gingerbread Village is coming back for our fourth year! The village will be on display in the Library's lobby from Sunday, Dec. 8th until early January 2025.

How to participate:

• Please sign up by contacting Sunnyvale Arts Commissioner Winnie Lam.
• Make and decorate your own family-friendly gingerbread house.
• Bring your gingerbread creation to the Library Program Room on Saturday, Dec. 7 between noon and 5:30 p.m. If this time does not work for you, please email Winnie to arrange an alternative drop-off. 
• The maximum size of each gingerbread submission is 12 inches long x 12 inches wide x 17 inches tall. 
• Maximum of one gingerbread creation per household. 
• Your gingerbread creation will not be returned. 

Building suggestions:

• Use a kit! Gingerbread house kits are available at local stores or online. They come in a variety of designs from café to cottage to castle.
• Use a hot glue gun. It will keep your house together better than icing during the month-long display period.
• This year's themes are Whoville, Grinch and tropical holidays. These themes are merely suggestions. Use your creativity to make whatever you like!
