Identity Lab: Essay-writing in the College Process

During Identity Lab, students will reflect on their identity, perspective and experiences through collaborative activities and guided writing prompts to prepare for essay-writing in the college process. There will also be a Question & Answer session for questions on Common App and UC applications. After the workshop, each student will receive a brief report with feedback and ideas for next steps.

Carolyn Siegel brings nearly two decades of experience in education to her work. She holds three master’s degrees, including her most recent in Educational Leadership. Carolyn currently serves as a college counselor at a private school and is Founder & CEO of Decoding America, an organization dedicated to empowering students through identity-driven college counseling.

This program is intended for high school seniors or recent graduates currently applying to college.

Registration is required. Space is limited.
