DESCRIPTION:<p>Celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month by creating your own Japanese Koinobori (Carp Kite). Koinobori are carp-looking windsocks that Japanese people hang up to decorate on Children's Day (Tengo no Sekku) which is a national holiday celebrated in May each year.</p><p>This program is for grades K-8 and their caregivers.&nbsp;</p><p>This program will be in the Library Program Room. No registration is required, but space is limited. Doors will close when the program is full.</p><p><strong>Accessibility</strong></p><p>Pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, the City of Sunnyvale will make reasonable efforts to accommodate persons with disabilities.
