Learn the difference between casual and professional communication, build confidence speaking on the phone, and practice writing emails that you can use right away. Through hands-on activities, examples, and practice exercises, you’ll gain practical skills that will help you stand out in your academic and career journey!
This program requires use of a laptop, phone, or similar device. If you cannot bring your own, request one during registration to be provided to you during the event.
This program is hosted by NOVAworks, a regional Workforce Development Board which helps career seekers and young adults with professional career guidance, skill development and job search assistance.
This program is for teens grades 9 to 12 and will be in the Library Program Room. Registration is required. Walk-ins may be available if space allows.
