Sign up for our Level Up Literacy program to work on your literacy goals. The program is free.

How it Works

We match you with a trained volunteer tutor. You’ll meet with your tutor in person at the Library. You’ll meet weekly for one to two hours.

Adult Learners

Get started if you:

• Speak and understand English
• Need basic reading and writing help
• Can meet with a tutor one to two hours per week
• Are age 18 or older and not enrolled in high school

Volunteer Tutors

Do you value and enjoy helping others? Then join us if you:

• Are age 18 and up
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Are able to read, write and speak English proficiently
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills, including listening and communication skills
• Can commit to meeting with an adult learner two hours per week for six months
